Posted on 06 October 2011 by admin

If you are using a wireless router with your BBNET Broadband connection, you can connect your Android phone direct to your wireless network.

Please note : Different manufacturers and networks may vary slightly in appearance and layout. If you need to, please check directly with your provider.

HTC
- Access the Android menu, by pressing the menu button on your phone as shown :

(Menu button on HTC used for example)

- Select Settings from the menu

- Select ‘Wireless and Networks’ from the Settings menu

- Ensure that there is a tick beside “Wifi On” and then select the wireless network from the list below:

- If there is security on the wireless network, you will be asked for your password at this stage. Enter the wireless key provided by BBNet or set on your router.

You should only need to do this once. When you have successfully connected to the router,  your phone will  save this network and automatically connect when this network is in range assuming wifi is switched on your phone.
